Welcome to Season 2021.

There is only one significant change to our registration fees this year – the cost of playing in a second competition is now only $200.  We have done this to make it easier for members to enjoy playing in more than just one competition (e.g. Seniors & Masters).  A player will be permitted to play in a second competition on three (3) occasions before you are expected to start paying a registration fees for that competition (pro rata to the $200).

In the annual audit of fees from other clubs, it should be noted that our registration fees are continuously at the lower end of the scale compared to other clubs of similar stature.  Hockey is an expensive game and we are conscious to make it as affordable as we can, while maintaining the Club’s facilities.  From 2022 we will consider manageable yearly increments to prevent the need for large increases to meet the running costs of the Club.

Please Register by the End of the February.  This is when we must submit our team entries to Hockey WA. If you have not registered by the end of February, you cannot be guaranteed a place in side for 2021. There is no advantage for you or the club to defer your registration.
Remember, the club can offer payment plans to members who need it.
The club will be maintaining a Key Dates Calendar for each Age Group on the Club Website.  This will include;

  • Preseason Information
  • Training Times
  • Selection Trials
  • Season Start Dates
  • Social Events and More

There are some significant changes to the Junior training schedules this year.

We have done this to assist with the growth and development of both the Girls’ & Boys’ Junior programs and create an environment where Hockey and social activities can thrive.

We have long held the mantra of ‘One Club’ across Men’s and Women’s programs in Junior and Senior hockey and these changes will ensure we are able to deliver that.

Junior Training will Commence from March 9, as detailed below;

5:30pm to 6:30pm
– 11/12 Boys’ & Girls’

There will be two training time slots, 5:15pm to 6:15pm & 6:15pm to 7:15pm.

During the season some 9/10 Teams will train on the turf in each of these time slots, and likewise for the 5/6’s on the grass.
We will not be able to confirm training times for individual teams until after selection trials have been completed; the trials are in the last two weekends of March.

The first three (3) weeks of training will be allocated as follows;

  • All 9/10 Girls’ – 5:15pm to 6:15pm
  • All 9/10 Boys’ – 6:15pm to 7:15pm
  • All 5/6 Boys’ & Girls’ will train on the Grass together from 5:15pm to 6:15pm

5:15pm to 6:15pm – 7/8 Boys’ & Girls’
