We are looking for people of all experiences to get involved umpiring junior hockey!
If you have umpiring experience, we are looking for people to umpire games staring between 5:30pm and 8:30pm on a Friday night and 8am and 11:30am on Saturday and Sunday mornings. On Friday’s we pay $50 for 11/12s games, on Saturdays we pay $35 for 7/8s games and on Sunday’s we pay $40 for 9/10s games.
If you have umpired a lot and have some time spare every few weeks we would love your assistance in mentoring some of our junior umpires and giving some tips to the more experienced umpires. This would be on your own terms very much around your current commitments.
If you are just starting out, you can begin in the younger age groups and improve your confidence and skills through umpiring and being mentored as well as shadowing umpires that have more experience!
Although we would love to see you every week, umpiring commitments can work around your schedule, so even if you have some holidays or busy patches coming up we can work out the best way to get you involved!
