Mens Elite Coaches Announced

We are pleased to confirm the coaching line ups for the Mens Premier Elite teams for 2024.

The Mens 1s will be led by 2023 Premiership coach Geoff Cock. A 2010 premiership player, scoring over 200 first grade goals for the club, Geoff became the second coach in 120 years to lead us to a Premiership victory on a memorable Grand Final day.

The Mens 2s will be led by 2023 Premiership coach Stu van Selm. A multiple 2s premiership winning player and multiple 2s premiership winning coach across different generations, Stu is also the coach of the WA U18s. His leadership and knowledge provides clear guidance for our impressive range of junior talent.

The Mens 3s will be led by multiple 2s Premiership player Lachie Ashton. Lachie was the WA U18 assistant coach in 2023 and has coached across many areas of the club with much popularity and success. Lachie’s appointment ensures a consistent selection voice across our Mens Premier league 1 – 3s teams, which in 2024 will be run as an entire squad. He also provides a pathway for aspiring Mens 4s players.

The Mens 4s will be led by 2010 1s Premiership coach Paul Graham. Also a 2s premiership coach and player, Paul has coached and played at nearly all levels of the Mens club and has coached multiple sides in the Womens and Junior clubs. His appointment ensures another generation of talented juniors has the pathway to success in our Mens club.

Club President Clayton Arnold says: ‘We are very pleased with the calibre of coaches we have in the Mens 1 – 4 teams. With professional coaching also provided on Tuesday nights for our lower grade teams, we have created an environment where players can get the most out of themselves, no matter what their level.’
