Official coaching for the lower grade Mens and Womens programs will start next week (Tuesday 15th).
These programs were due to be run by Mens Premier 1 Coach Des King. With a staff crisis at HockeyWA, Des has agreed to help Hockey WA for the next few weeks with some very important state initiatives including the Ric Charlesworth Classic and the U18s State Tournament. Unfortunately this means he will be unable to make the lower grade training.
We’re delighted that David Guest has agreed to step into the role until Des is able to take it up. With over 100 caps for the Kookaburras and coaching positions that include Assistant Coach of the Hockeyroos, Guesty is viewed as one of the leading young coaches in the game.
Please be warmed up and ready to start at 630pm for your session. The plan is to train within your team structure and rotate through a number of drills.
